The CuBER project, together with other European project consortiums related to flow batteries, organizes a Flow Battery Workshop, that will be hold online on the 24th of October. The objective of this final workshop is to promote the project results and continue building relationships with relevant stakeholders beyond the end of the project.
The agenda is designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among the projects on flow batteries and relevant stakeholders. It includes a series of brief presentations highlighting 10 European past projects related to flow batteries, three in depth presentations (one of them, of CUBER project), a market view presentation and an overview of the funding instruments for Redox flow batteries.
AGENDA
13:00 - 13:15 | Opening. |
13:15 - 14:15 | Highlights of current/past EU project on flow batteries (~10 projects of 5 min each). |
14:15 - 14:45 | Copper-based flow batteries for energy storage and renewables integration: results and learnings from CuBER project (Catia Arbizzani, Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, CuBER project). |
14:45 - 15:00 | Break. |
15:00 - 15:30 | H2-Br2 redox flow batteries (Wiebrand Kout, Elestor, MELODY project). |
15:30 - 16:00 | Energy storage market developments (Jonas Hyllseth Ryen, Business developer at New Business Development of Statkraft). |
16:00 - 16:30 | Redox-mediated Zn-air flow batteries (Erik Kelder, TU Delft, ReZilient project). |
16:30 - 16:50 | Overview funding instruments for RFB topics in Horizon Europe program (Johan Blondelle, policy officer at European Commission). |
16:50 - 17:00 | Closure. |
The Stakeholder Workshop will serve as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and progress within the flow battery development. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, the workshop will foster a collaborative ecosystem on flow batteries development. Through dialogue, knowledge exchange, and project promotion, participants will contribute to the advancement of innovative solutions and implementation of Redox Flow Batteries.
